Evelyn Williamson Price

Evelyn Williamson Price, 94 of Louisburg passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023.  Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  Interment will follow in Contentnea Cemetery, Wilson.  Pastor Wayne Whitley will officiate.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1 – 3 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Sandra Ferrell Webb and husband, Ray of Louisburg; son, Hunter Ferrell and wife, Martha of Rocky Mount; granddaughters, Hillary Jackson of Wilmington, and Haley Chambers and husband, Dave of Wilson; grandsons, Shane Poythress of Wilson, Devin Ferrell of Louisville, Kentucky, Dustin Ferrell and wife, Amber of Louisville, Kentucky, and Ryan Ferrell of Denver, Colorado; granddaughter, Savannah Ferrell and partner, Shane Sullivan of Louisville, Kentucky; grandson, Taylor Moose and partner, Sara Yaglowski of Elizabeth City; seven great-grandchildren, and her special daughters, Renee Moore and Susan Bullock.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlyle Ferrell and her second husband, Edwin “Eddie” Price; her children, Tommie Ferrell, Carla Ferrell and Sherri Ferrell; granddaughter, Michelle Jenkins, and her parents, Grover and Susie Williamson.

The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to Kristan, Shayla, and Amedisys Hospice for the love and care that was given to Evelyn.
