Frances Ann Eubanks Nowell

Frances Ann Eubanks Nowell, 87 of Wilson passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2615 Tilghman Road, Wilson. Bishop Matthew Criswell will officiate.

Frances is survived by her daughters, Maurine McQueen Nowell Brown and husband, Greg of Zebulon, and Anna Jane Murray and husband, Jim of Lucama; sons, Carl Alvin Nowell of Wilson, and Maurice Nowell and wife, Olga of Oak Island; grandchildren, Rachel Brown, Jenna Lynn King and husband, Brendan, Ruth Ann Murray and JC Murray, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Nowell, and her parents, Jeramiah and Ila Maurine Eubanks.
