Franklin Delano Galloway

September 2, 1933 – May 11, 2019

Franklin “Frank” Delano Galloway went to his heavenly home Saturday, May 11, 2019.  He was a lifelong faithful servant to the Lord.  He loved nothing more than witnessing to others.  Frank always saw the good in people and was one of the first to help someone in need.

Frank was a Gideon for many years and placed many bibles during that time until his health began to decline.  He was a 50-year employee of Wilson Trailer Sales and Service and loved his boss, Alton Absher, like a brother.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 66 years, Lou Galloway, a son, Jeff Galloway and wife Janie, daughter, Deborah Denton and daughter-in-law, Amy Galloway.  Two sons, Frankie Galloway and Rusty Galloway, preceded him in death.  Frank had six grandchildren, Jeremy Gay and wife, Amanda, Mary Kate Mannino and husband Paul, Robbie Denton and wife, Kelli, Alex Galloway, Holly Galloway and Glen Galloway and four great grandchildren, Hali Denton, Joy Gay, Kase Denton and Evie Mannino.  He also leaves behind a special sister-in-law, Sue Bass.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 14 at 11:00 A.M. in the Joyner’s Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Walt Tyndall presiding.  Burial will follow in Black Creek Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday, May 13 from 6:00 – 8:30 P.M. at Joyner’s Funeral Home.

Flowers are welcome but donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org would be greatly appreciated.

The family would like to publicly thank Community Hospice for all their special care and love, especially Kristen, Heather and Jackie.

Condolences may be directed to Joyner’s Funeral Home at www.joyners.net.
