Garland Draper Hale, Jr.

Garland Draper Hale, Jr. of Wilson passed away Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the age of 86. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2026, in Maplewood Cemetery. Pastor Joe Shakour will officiate.

Garland is survived by his wife, Judy Faye Hale; daughter, Misty Hale Foote and husband, Robert Foote, Jr. of Wilson; son, Alan Hale and wife, Angela of Aiken, South Carolina; granddaughter, Anna Hale of Aiken, South Carolina and his brother, Fred Hale of Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Selma Hale.
