G.B. Barnes

G.B. Barnes November 16, 1933 – July 6, 2021 G.B. Barnes, 87 of Wilson passed away Tuesday. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 2 – 3:30 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. G.B. is survived by his loving wife of sixty-six years, Jean M. Barnes; daughters, Pam Jenkins of Rocky Mount, Lisa Whitley and husband, Jay of Elm City, and Sandra Atkinson of Stantonsburg; granddaughters, Beth Hamm and husband, Gary of Bailey, and Amy Morris and husband, Daniel of Woodland; grandson, Tyler Jenkins and wife, Lauren of Fremont, and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Dennis Barnes, and his parents, Ben and Irene Barnes.
