George Wayne Smith, 63, of Lucama passed away Monday.-A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday in Webb Cemetery on Glover Road, Fountain.-The Rev. Rex Edwards will officiate.

The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m.-Thursday at 6444 Slabtown Road, Wilson.-/p>

Wayne is survived by his wife, Teresa Smith of the home; his daughters, Hope Troutman and Bobby Grimsley of Wilson and Faith Hirschi and husband, Ryan; his sisters, Brenda Page and husband, Donnie of Wilson, Sue Harris and husband, Wayne of Lucama, Elaine Beaman and husband Ray of Sims and Cindy Bissette and husband, Herman of Bailey; his granddaughters, Tiffany Troutman, Christie Troutman,-Kaitlyn Hirschi and Claudia Hirschi; his grandson, Blake Grimsley, and his step-sons, Scottie Futch and Neal Futch.

He was preceded in death by his son, George Wayne Smith, Jr.; his parents, Willie Smitty Smith and Daisy Webb Smith; his brothers, Kent and Lane Smith and his granddaughter, Madison Troutman.
