Gerald Landis Tyner, Sr.

Gerald Landis Tyner, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, October 10.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 13 at 11:00 am on one of Gerald’s farms at 7817 Proctor Place, Elm City.  Reverend Steve Webb will officiate.

Family will receive friends and family on Thursday, October 12 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Judy Wooten Tyner; sons, Gerald Landis Tyner, Jr. of Elm City and Donnie Louis Tyner  and wife, Ashley of Elm City; sister, Diane Tyner Gray of Raleigh; grandchildren, Jordan Landis Tyner, Brandon Clay Tyner, Trevin Louis Tyner, and Keaton Ann Tyner.

Gerald was preceded in death by his brother, Richard A. Jones, Sr. and parents, Alkie Ashley Tyner and Faye Jones Tyner.
