Geraldine Dawson Bass

Geraldine Dawson Bass, 86, passed away on Friday, May 19.  A funeral service will be held at a later date.

Geraldine is survived by her son, Ricky H. Bass and spouse, Patricia S. Bass; grandsons, Blake Durham and Frankie Alan Durham; step-granddaughter, Becki Carter Woodard; and brother, James Dawson and spouse, Ellen of Black Creek; a very special sister-in-law, Faye Dawson; a very special neighbor and dear friend, Dorothy Woodard; a special lifetime friend who was like a second son, Billy Ray Lucas and spouse, Kim of Wilson; and best friend who was always there for her, Joyce Holloman of Wilson.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bass, Jr.; daughter, Debrah K. Durham; brother, Walter Dawson; sister, Betsy Bynum, and her parents, Ed Tue Dawson and Geneva Barfield Dawson.
