Harold "Pete" Brantley

Harold “Pete” Brantley, 78 of Bailey passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023 peacefully surrounded by family.  Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2023, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  Pastor Phillip Hawley will officiate.

The family will receive friends Friday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Pete faithfully served the Lord in a devoted manner and shared his spiritual love with others. He loved to cut the grass at Independence PH Church where he faithfully attended. After forty plus years he retired from Fawn Industries as a machine technician. Pete and Donna worked for over forty years with Abrams Catering and Amusements.  Faye was the love of his life, who stood by his side devotedly to the end.

Pete is survived by his loving wife of fifty-six years, Donna Faye Deans Brantley; son, Jeffery Harold Brantley and Joy of Burlington; granddaughter, Misty Brooke Combs; grandson, Jacob Dean Brantley and wife, Lindsey, and great-grandson, Noah Monteith; and brother, Willie Jay Brantley.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Brantley; parents, Jesse and Hazel Brantley; sister, Eloise B. Eason and brothers, Jesse Brantley, Jr. and Harvey Brantley.
