Harold Lee Patterson

Harold Lee Patterson, affectionately known to many as “Muscles”, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad Company after thirty-five years of dedicated service. Harold found joy in golfing, cheering for the UNC Tarheels, and selflessly doing for others. He cherished gatherings with family and friends, often delighting them with his delicious desserts, especially his famous pecan pie.

Harold is survived by his loving sister, Marsha Patterson High, and his nephew, Joey Glenn High.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Patterson and Ruby Denton Patterson; sister, Elizabeth Perry; brother, Charles Patterson, and his nephew, Allen Perry.

Harold will be deeply missed by many family members and friends.

A private service will be held at a later time.
