We are devastated to announce the unexpected passing of our daughter, Hayzel Cryslynn Wallace. Hayzel passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 6, 2022. Hayzel was born to her adoring parents, Hayley and Joshua Wallace on December 15, 2021, in Greenville, North Carolina. This loss is completely unexpected, and our family mourns Hayzel’s passing greatly.
Even though Hayzel was taken from us much too soon, she was deeply loved and brought immense joy to those around her. Hayzel loved her Deddy. She would follow him with her eyes all around the room and always smiled when she saw him. Hayzel enjoyed cuddling with her Mama and talking with her. Hayzel adored her big brother. She always smiled and cooed at him every time he walked near her.
Hayzel is survived by her parents, Hayley and Joshua Wallace; big brother, JP (John Patrick Wallace); grandparents, Michele Rowsey (Nana), Darin Wallace (PaPaw) and Derrick Owens (Pops); great grandparents, Carolyn (Jean) Wallace, Gene Wallace, Shirley Rowsey, Carleton Rowsey, Martha Barnes and Donnie Barnes; great-great grandmother, Betty Joyce Parker; aunt, Ashley Wallace; uncles, Caleb Owens and Bo (Brandon) Owens; cousins, Marley Williams, Gracelyn Williams and Emani Dupree; godparents, Chase and Malorie Webb and Jamiyah Norman as well as many other loving extended family members and close friends.
Hayzel was preceded in death by her Mamaw, Crystal Wallace and her Poppy Buddy, Patrick Andrew Owens III.
