Helen Parker Brinkley

June 23, 1955 – January 18, 2022

Helen Parker Brinkley, 66, of Elm City, passed away Tuesday. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Rev. Wayne Whitley will officiate.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Crystal Lamm and husband, Jesse; son, Shane Parker and wife, Amanda; son, Jonathan Brinkley; grandsons, Danny Lamm, Austin Lamm and Shane Parker Jr; granddaughters, Jasmine Saucedo, Julianna parker and Cassidy Brinkley; sisters, Faye Mozingo and Callie Dunn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Thelton Brinkley, Sr.; father, Lummie Parker; mother, Estelle Jones; son, James Mack Parker, Jr.; brother, L.C. Parker and sisters, Ida Parker and Estelle “Pookie” Parker.
