Jacqueline Davis Robbins

Jackie Robbins, 85, passed away April 20, 2022, at Parkwood Village assisted living surrounded by her family.

Jackie was born in Nashville, NC on January 11, 1937, to the late Jasper W. Davis and Grace T. Davis. A lifelong teacher, Jackie instilled a love of learning to students for more than 41 years. Jackie’s faith was the centerpiece of her life.  She was dedicated to her church and shared her gift of music for more than 40 years.

She was loved by many and will be remembered for her genuine kindness to all, her bright smile and laughter, and her love of family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the home of Greg and Lisa Robbins in Wilson on Sunday April 24th from 5-8 p.m. and a graveside service will be held at Mill Branch Cemetery in Rocky Mount at 11 a.m. on Monday April 25th.

Jackie is survived by her sister, Miriam Davis Rose of Raleigh, son Gregory Bedford Robbins and wife, Lisa, of Wilson; grandchildren Thomas Tanner Robbins and Catherine Grace Robbins, of Raleigh.

The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Parkwood Village assisted living and the staff of Community Home Care & Hospice.
