James "Ed" Edward Winborne, Jr.

James “Ed” Edward Winborne, Jr., 77, owner of Fowler’s Nursery, passed away on Monday, March 4.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 9 at 12:30 pm at Maplewood Cemetery, 400 College Street, NE, Wilson.  Reverend Eddie Smith will officiate.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 9 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Ed is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Langston and husband, Brent and Lindsey Nanney and husband, Russ; sons, J.E. Winborne, III and wife, Amanda and Bill Winborne; and grandchildren, Dalton Langston, Mitchell Langston, Wyatt Langston, Lillie Winborne, Sadie Winborne, Edward Winborne, IV, Hazel Winborne, and Boone Nanney.

Ed was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy “Lib” Elizabeth Winborne; parents, James Edward Winborne, Sr. and Romaine Deans Winborne; and brother, Phil Deans Winborne.
