James Arthur Finch, Jr. January 27, 1942 – February 9, 2021 James “Jimmy” Arthur Finch, Jr., 79 of Middlesex passed away Tuesday. His funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery. The Rev. James Robertson will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10 – 10:45 a.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Jimmy was an avid NC State fan. He was a loving husband and brother and friend to all who knew him. Jimmy will be missed and thought of often with wonderful memories. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of thirty-one years, Phyllis J. Finch of the home; sisters, Peggy B. Finch Bryant and husband, Wallace “Tom”, and Betsy F. Bailes and husband, Gordon and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their gratitude to his caregiver, Mary Neal for her dedicated service and her loving care and compassion.
