James (Jim) Franklin Thomas Snell

James (Jim) Franklin Thomas Snell, a faithful servant of God, peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus early Monday morning, August 22, 2022, at the age of 67.

A Celebration of Life, officiated by Pastor Justin Deeter, will be held at Joyner's Funeral Home in Wilson on Friday, August 26th at 1:00 p.m. The Family will receive Friends prior to the service from 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will be private at a later date.

Jim was a dedicated member of Redemption Church, The Christian Motorcycle Association, Under the Bridge Ministry in Durham, North Carolina and other local outreach and service organizations.

He is survived by his sister, Denise Snell Barry and husband, Mike of Wilson, North Carolina and his close companion and dearest friend Gray West, also of Wilson; nephew, Steve Barry and his family of Wilson and his nephew, Mark Barry and his family of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
