James "Mr. Buck" Chester Holloman

James Chester “Mr. Buck” Holloman, 82, of Lucama passed away on Saturday, November 4.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 8 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. 

James is survived by his daughter, Linda Holloman Raper of Lucama; grandchildren, Heather Forsythe and husband, Chris of Wilson and Lindsey Tomlinson and husband, Paul of Wilson; great-grandchildren, Madison Morales, Emmalyn Tomlinson, Claire Tomlinson, Bristol Forsythe, and Jace Forsythe, all of Wilson; sisters, Grace Barnes of Wilson, Linda Grady and husband, Kenneth of Seven Springs, and Violet Bridgers and husband, Dallas of Lucama; brothers, Wayne Baker and wife, Vickie of Wilson and Silas Baker, Jr. and wife, Debbie of Wilson; numerous special nieces and nephews; and many special friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Holloman and Mary Elizabeth Baker; brothers, Douglas Holloman and Tommy Holloman, Jr.; and step-dad, Silas Baker.
