James "Jimmy" Bruton Pate, Jr.

James "Jimmy" Bruton Pate, Jr., 74 of Lucama passed away Friday, April 26, 2024.   A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2024, in Bass Family Cemetery, 6300 Alton Road, Lucama.   The Rev. Tony Hawley will officiate.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Jessica Pate; sister, Vicky P. Peeden and husband, Doug; brother, Danny Pate and wife, Donna; nieces, Kristen Davis and husband, Stephen, Kari Thomas and husband, Sam, Allison Evans and husband, Bradley, and Jenna Pate; nephews, Adam Lamm and wife, Amanda, Jad Pate and wife, Victoria, and Andrew Pate, and a host of great nieces and nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruton and Ruby Pate; sisters, Diane P. Lamm and Lillie Faye Pate, and his brother, Davy Joe Pate.
