James Patrick "Pat" Logan

James Patrick Logan September 25, 1950 – June 14, 2021 James Patrick Logan, 70 of Wilson passed away Monday of congestive heart failure exacerbated by COVID-19. A loving father, husband, brother and uncle. Pat Logan grew up in Fairfax, Virginia and graduated from Washington and Lee High School in 1969. He was an employee of the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority for over thirty years as a bus mechanic, supervisor, and station manager. He relocated to Wilson upon retirement in 2006 and one of his favorite retirement pastimes was cheering on local baseball teams, including the Wilson Tobs and ringing his cowbell, and serving as a host family. He was known for his steadfast faith, the twinkle in his eye, his sweet mustache, and for wishing everyone he met “Godspeed.” James is survived by his daughter, Bridget Grace “GiGi” Logan of Knoxville, Tennessee; sisters, Mary Logan of Fairfax, Virginia, and Betty Diggs of Woodstock, Virginia; and brother, Thaddeus Sumner “Chip” Logan III of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
