James Ray Bryant, 65, of Wilson passed away Wednesday.-/p>

James is survived by his son, Daniel Nelson; his granddaughter, Diedra Nelson, his grandsons, Daniel Ray Nelson, Jr. and Damien Nelson and great-grandson, Daniel Ray Nelson III all of Florida; his sister, Pat Rose and husband, Ricky of Stantonsburg; his niece, Gwyn Weber and husband, Paul of Rocky Mount; his nephews, Larry Rose and wife, Claudia of Wilson and James Rose of Bailey and his beloved dogs, Susie and Roscoe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Mildred Bryant.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his many friends of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge.-He was a wonderful person that was loved by many and will be missed with joyful memories.
