James Earl "Buck" Whitley

James Earl “Buck” Whitley, 88, of Wilson, passed away Tuesday. A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Joyner’s Funeral Home with visitation immediately following. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on July 22, 2022, in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson.

Buck is survived by his daughters, Connie Ballance and husband, Bobby and Denise Whitley and her fur babies, Brownie and Beadlock; granddaughters, Christy Petway, Lucy Hooper and husband, Rich and Whitley Holloman and husband, Jeff; grandson, Michael “Bo” Hill; great-grandsons, Trevor Limper, Connor Limper, Hunter Haynes and Isaac Hooper.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Whitley; daughter, Agnes “Aggie” Hill and son, James Carl “Maniac” Whitley; as well as seven brothers and sisters.
