Janice Nadine Collett

Janice Nadine Collett, 67, of Wilson passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026. A special gathering of family and friends will be held from 3 – 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon, March 21, 2026, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Janice is survived by her husband, Joe Collett; daughter, Carrie Taylor and Charles Stitt; granddaughter, Summer Lynn Romick; grandson, Joseph “Joey” William Romick and wife, Riley; great-grandson, Henry William Romick, and her father, Kent Spencer and wife, Martha.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Batts; mother, Gail Spencer; sister, Brend Mae Spencer Bosse, and her brother, Kent “Termite” Spencer, Jr. and wife, Beverly.
