Jean "Jeno" Joseph Cossette

Jean “Jeno” Joseph Cossette, 68, of Wilson passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. Tony Anders will officiate.

The family will receive friends Thursday morning, June 18, 2026, from 10 – 10:45 a.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Jeno loved fishing and boating, playing cards and riding his Indian Motorcycle. He was a general superintendent at Balfour Construction for over ten years. Jeno was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Jeno is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Grace Cossette; daughter, Jessica Cossette (Alex); son, Jeno Cossette; grandsons, Rocky Lanier, Jude Lanier, Levi Lanier, and Cyrus Lanier; granddaughter, Violet Scott; sisters, Paula Allen (Ralph), Christine Cossette-Metzgar, Carole Dick and Theresa Salvas and his brothers, Christopher Cossette (David Lewis) and Eddie Ewell (Amy Lancaster).

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Garrette; granddaughter, Cassidy Dove and his father, parents, John G. Cossette and his mother, Marlene Ewell.
