Jean Tyson Johnson, 90 of Middlesex passed away Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery, Wilson. Rev. Jim Powell will officiate.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Carter (Don), and Gail Johnson both of Middlesex; grandsons, Hunter Wells (Sandy), Dylan Wells (Hannah), Jordan Maddrey (Brittany), Charlie Jackson all of Middlesex; sisters, Shirley Davis, and Carolyn Ferrell both of Wilson, and her brother, Oscar L. Tyson, Jr. of Zebulon.

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-eight years, Elbridge Johnson, and her parents, Oscar Lee Tyson, Sr. and Nettie Mae Tyson.
