Jeanette Ruth Dew

Jeanette Ruth Dew, 86 of Bailey passed away Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2026, at White Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 3967 W Hornes Church Road, Bailey. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. Rev. Glenn Raven and Rev. Reube Cason will officiate.

The family will receive friends Saturday morning prior to the service from 10 – 10:45 a.m. at White Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church, Bailey.

Jeanette enjoyed working in her yard, tending to her flowers and watching the hummingbirds. She loved dancing but only at home. Jeanette loved her family tremendously and everyone loved her. She will be greatly missed and thought of often with wonderful memories that will bring a smile.

Jeanette is survived by her daughters, Audrey D. Mitchell and Lori Dew; sons, Donald Wayne Dew and Ronald James Dew; grandchildren, Michael Shane Mitchell, Jessica Nichole Tyler, and Amber M. Massengill and husband, Matt; great-grandchildren, Kenzlee Harper Lindstrom and Paxton James Massengill; sister, Joan Eatmon Larson, and her sister-in-law, Sandra Eatmon.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Leigh Dew; parents, Oliver and Maggie Eatmon and her brother, Jack Lee Eatmon.
