Jeffery Ray Batchelor

Jeffery Ray Batchelor passed away on Tuesday, June 20.  A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24 from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.  A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  Reverend Wayne Whitley will officiate.

Jeffery is survived by his father, Arthur Ray Batchelor of Wilson; daughter, Sammantha Rae Batchelor of Wilson; and special son, Richard MacNamara of Wilson; nephew, Tyler Mitchell; aunt, Rhonda “Sissy” Shore and husband, Larry of Wilson; uncle, Steven “Dickie” Lane of Raleigh; cousins, Kelly Jones of Wilmington, Amanda Peyton and husband, Reid of Rocky Mount; and Lynn Williams and husband, Brad of Wilson.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah “Dumpy” Batchelor; sister, Heather B. Mitchell; grandparents, Arthur and Jean Batchelor, and Rudolph and Pearl Lane; and aunt, Brenda Winstead.

Jeffery worked with his dad at Art’s Auto and Radiator Service.  He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
