Jeff Alan Hall, age 56 transitioned to his heavenly home after his persevering battle with stage 4 esophageal cancer on August 15, 2024, at 3:16 pm. He was surrounded by those he loved, his wife Tammy, daughters, father and so many friends that he thought of as family by his side.
Jeff was born in Charlotte to his late mother, Judith Hall and his father, Jimmy Hall, currently of the residence. Jeff has resided in the Elm City and Wilson community for many years where he has touched so many lives and hearts. He took pride in owning a cabinet shop in Wilson and currently worked as a fire inspector at Williams Fire and Sprinkler located in Williamston. Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley motorcycle, and cooking. Jeff loved the art of woodworking and would take any chance he had to build something in his shop. He loved his family and spent any moment he could with them. His smile and personality lit up any room he entered, and he was always making others laugh and he was the life of any party. Jeff truly never met a stranger who didn’t fall in love with him almost instantly. Jeff was an absolute inspiration to all with his outlook on life, even through his battle with cancer he remained positive and had the best attitude and outlook about everything.
He will be missed dearly by his wife, Tammy Hall, whom he adored with his whole heart; his father, Jimmy Hall, who he loved dearly and took care of; his daughters, that he loved more than life itself, Jessica Hall and her significant other, Dillon, Hannah Moseley, Katie Dickens and husband, Brad and Jessica Lee and husband, Joe, and two granddaughters, Lorelai and River, who will miss their papa greatly. Jeff also leaves behind so many special friends that he called family and loved deeply as well as his two sisters, Donna York and Kim Hall and his brother, Michael Hall.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2024, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
