Jesse Harrell Skinner

Jesse Harrell Skinner July 15, 1936 – June 7, 2021 Jesse Harrell Skinner, 84 of Wilson passed away Monday, June 7, 2021 at his home. He was the owner of Skinner’s Electric Service and retired from the NC State Board of Electrical Contractors after twenty-six years of service. Jesse is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Betty Norris Skinner; daughter, Terry Skinner Heath and husband, Carl of Fremont; son, Roderick Allen Skinner of Wilson; granddaughters, Jenna Speight Adams and husband, Landon of Willow Springs and Courtney Speight Pittman and husband, David of Colerain, and his great-grandchildren, Raylynn and Fletcher Adams. His funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson with interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Tim Gore will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home.
