Jimmie Dail Aycock

Jimmie Dail Aycock, 77, passed away on Tuesday, December 12.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 16 at 11:00 am at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.  Reverend David Kriger will officiate. 

Family will receive friends on Friday, December 15 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home.

Jimmie faithfully and honorably served his country in the United States Army.  He was also a dedicated member of the Lucama Masonic Lodge #527 A.F. and A.M where he served as a Past Master.  He was also an active member of St. Mary's FWB Church.

Jimmie is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Paula Batts Aycock of the home; daughter, Jennifer Aycock Rhodes and husband, Jared of Fayetteville; son, Patrick Dail Aycock of Lucama; granddaughters, Emily Rhodes and Jana Rhodes; and grandson, Colin Rhodes.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, Jarvis T. Aycock and Annabelle Howard Aycock; brothers, Donnie Aycock and Timothy Aycock; and sister, Diane Hardesty.
