John Ashe Batchelor

John Ashe Batchelor, 46 of Raleigh passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024.   A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.  Rev. Wayne Whitley will officiate.  

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  Please bring 1 – 3 pictures of John to donate to a photo album guest book.

John is survived by William Batchelor Yuen of Durham and wife, Emily; nephew, Theodore Hervey Yuen, aunt, Hervey Ashe; godmother, Sandra Barnes, and his best friend, Billy O’Boyle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Celia Batchelor.
