John Patrick Francoeur, 76, of Wilson passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5260 Old Raleigh Road, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. Rev. Woody Parrish will officiate.
The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 1 – 1:45 at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Wilson.
John is survived by his loving wife of twenty-six years, Fran Justice Francoeur; daughter, Samantha Francoeur Gordon and husband, Timothy of Thailand; sons, John Patrick Francoeur, II and wife, Karmen of Candler, Mitchell S. McNutt and wife, Cara of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Dexter J. McNutt and wife, Destiny of Wilson; thirteen grandchildren; sister, Jackie Colebank of Virginia and his step-mother, Luverne Francoeur.
