Jonathan "Jon" Elliott Fortney

Jonathan “Jon” Elliott Fortney of Wilson passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, following a brief illness. A private family service will be held in his honor.

Jon will be remembered as a loving son, devoted brother, and proud uncle whose kindness and presence meant so much to those who knew him. He touched the lives of many with his warmth and caring spirit. Jon will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and his memory will be cherished always.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Fortney.
