Joseph Ellis August 26, 1959 – November 14, 2019 Joseph “Joe” Ellis, 60 of Wilson passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019. The family will receive friends from 5 -7 p.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Joe is survived by his son, Matthew Joseph Ellis of Wilson; daughter, Elizabeth Kathern Ellis of Wilson; brothers, William Franklin Ellis of Rocky Mount and Donnie Cooley of Kinston; niece, Sarah Ellis Gay and his nephews, Tyler Ellis, Nicholas Ellis and Patrick Ellis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Larry Pittman Junior Golf Memorial, 2305 Runnymeade NW Road, Wilson, North Carolina 27896.
