Joseph "Joe" Todd High

Joseph "Joe" Todd High, 63, of Sharpsburg went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 26, 2025. His love of music and playing his guitar will always be a blessing to us.

Joe is survived by two children, a daughter, Sarah High Gonyea (Jason) of Rocky Mount; a son, Christopher High of Elm City; two grandchildren; brother, Stevie High of Bailey and a very dear special friend, Debra Pierce of Sharpsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William “Billy” and Jessie D. High, and two brothers, Dennis and Dewey High.

As per his wishes there will be no service.

Psalms 34:18-19 – The Lord is close to brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.
