Ray Raymond Shepard, Jr., 67, of Wilson passed away Monday.-The family will receive friends 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner-s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at 4818 Country Club Drive.

Ray is survived by his wife, Cathy Glover Shepard of the home; his sister-s, Jan Aydlette and husband, Chuck of Charleston, SC, Alice Plaatje and special friend, Mike of Fort Myers Beach, FL and Gail Boswell and husband, Tommy of Middlesex; his brother, Phil Shepard and wife, Angel of Raleigh and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Raymond and Ruth Willoughby Shepard.
