Judy Lynn Davis

Judy Lynn Davis, 72, of Wilson passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. October 9, 2026, at First United Methodist Church of Wilson, 100 Green Street NE, Wilson.

Judy was one of a kind, and a beacon of light to our world. Her love and kindness were a true testament to Jesus and His love for us. Her sense of humor was always bringing a laugh at the most needed times. She had a passion for teaching and always made learning fun. She made a huge impact on her students’ lives, and the trajectory of their futures. Even her relationship with animals was something supernatural! She was like no other!

In Romans 13:10 it says, “Love does no wrong to anyone. That’s why it fully satisfies all of God’s requirements. It is the only law you need.” In other words, love is the fulfilment of the law, and this was the way she lived every aspect of her life. She will be missed dearly by so many, and most certainly never forgotten.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Kristy Davis, Heather Davis, and Traci Ashley; grandson Noah Davis and her fur babies, Charlie, CK & Dustin (aka Dusty Buns and Mr. Busy)

She was preceded in death by her grandson, David Franklin Davis; parents, Leroy and Hortense Turner, and her former husband and lifelong friend, Clark Davis.
