Julian Cecil Patterson

Julian Cecil Patterson, of Wilson passed away peacefully with his daughters by his side on Friday, January 9, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Private burial will be held in Evergreen Memorial Park. Rev. Walt Tyndall will officiate.

The family will receive friends Sunday prior to the service from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Cecil worked with the Wilson County Rescue Squad and Napa Auto Parts for over fifty years. He was an active member of his church where he served his Lord faithfully and was a Deacon. Cecil was an avid fan of classic cars.

Cecil is survived by his daughters, Jennifer King and husband, Brian, and Crystal Mixon and husband, Zack; grandson, Cade Mixon; granddaughter, Claire Mixon and his brother, Gary Patterson.

He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-two years, who he loved dearly, Brenda Williams Patterson.
