Kathy Romaine Bray February 8, 1968 – September 9, 2020 Kathy Romaine Bray, 52 of Wilson passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 – 6:45 p.m. with the funeral services following at 7 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Interment will be private. The Rev. Jerry Nelson will officiate. Everybody that knew Kathy loved her and they would always say that she was a little sweetheart, and they enjoyed taking care of her. She loved some of life’s simplest pleasures, listening to music, riding in her favorite spot, which was up front on the passenger’s side, and she had a love for food. Kathy was loved by many and will be truly missed, even though in our hearts we know she is in a better place today. Kathy is survived by her sisters, Diane Dew and Jennifer McCall and her special aunt, Doris Thorne. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Joyner Bray and her father, Pharaoh “Junior” Bray, Jr. and her step-mother, Alice Bray and her brother, Elton Bray.
