Larry Douglas Harris

Larry Douglas Harris, 73, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 30.  A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 1 at 6:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson, NC.  A visitation will immediately follow at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  Reverend Jeff Holden will officiate.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Dianne Baker Harris of Pinetops; daughter, Amy Harris Robinette and husband, Patrick of Pinetops; son, Andy Douglas and fiancé, Annika Willis of Pinetops; brother, Phillip Wayne Harris and wife, Susan of Blounts Creek; granddaughter, McKayla Robinette; grandson, Caden Robinette; and granddaughter, Caroline Harris.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron Earl Harris and Meredith Elizabeth Harrell Harris.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North East Carolina Preparatory School FFA, 274 Husky Trail, Tarboro, NC.
