Laura Ellen Kelley

Laura Ellen Kelley, 47 of Wilson passed away Friday, October 20, 2023.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson.  Rev. Glenn Hill will officiate.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Laura graduated from Appalachian State University in 2006, with a degree in Banking, Finance, and Insurance Risk Management.

Laura is survived by her mother, Marjorie S. Kelley of Elm City; her brother, David R. Kelley, Jr. and wife, Sarah of Cartersville, Georgia; her close and loving extended family, and her beloved cats, Dianna and Fergie.

She was preceded in death by her father, David R. Kelley, Sr.; her grandmothers, Marjorie Sawrey and Ethel M. Kelley and her great-grandmother, Laura E. Moore.
