Linda Tant Bunn Rosenberger

Linda Tant Bunn Rosenberger, 79, of Sims passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at RiverBend Church, 9853 E Hwy 97, Rocky Mount. Pastor Steve Webb will officiate.

The family will receive friends prior to service Wednesday afternoon from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at RiverBend Church, Rocky Mount.

Linda was a nurse for twenty-seven years, her first nine years were with the Nash County Migrant Clinic the remainder of her career was with Nash County Home Health, she took pride in caring for and loving her patients. She loved her co-workers and enjoyed each day that she could help someone in need. Linda was a loving, caring person always there to help her family, community or church. Her favorite activities included thrifting and gardening, and she was very artistic and creative. Linda was loved deeply and will be truly missed and thought of often with loving memories and her infectious smile.

Linda is survived by her wonderful husband of twelve years, Ray Rosenberger; daughter, Diana Coffey (Sam Vick); son, Mark Bunn; granddaughter, Kelley Rose and husband, Scott; grandsons, R.C. Coffey and wife, Heather, Chris Coffey and wife, Shannon, Joshua Coffey and wife, MacKenzie and Matthew Coffey; step-daughters, Jessica Derrick and Tiffany Warner; sisters, Margaret Jewel Tant and Joy Tant, and her brother, Samuel Tant along with many wonderful extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Margaret Tant; brother, James “Jimmy” Tant and her first husband, Robert “Bob” Bunn.
