Malinda Fetters Jones

Malinda Jones, 83 of Wilson passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, February 20, 2026, from 10 – 12 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Pastor Mark Johnson will be present.

Malinda is survived by her sons, Robert Jones and wife, Emma, Gordon Dobbins and wife, Tina, Timothy Dobbins, and her daughter, Judith Armstrong; grandchildren, Robert Jones, III, Gordon “Jeff” Dobbins, Jr., John Dobbins, Joshua Dobbins, Jared Dobbins, Amber Dobbins, Shawn Dobbins, Timothy Dobbins, Jr., Judith Armstrong-Jourdan, Fanai Armstrong, and Isaiah Jones ; sixteen great-grandchildren, and her brother, Jeff Fetters.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gordan “Eddie” Edward Dobbins, Daniel Armstrong, and Robert Jones; parents, Clyde and Evelyn Fetters, and her brother, Clyde Arnold Fetters.
