Margie Harrell Harris

February 20, 1933 – December 24, 2021

Margie Harrell Harris, 88, of Wilson, passed away Friday. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Margie spent her career as a seamstress for Carolina Clothing and was also a devoted member of Church of God of Prophecy.

Margie is survived by her niece, Jena Lumpton and husband, David; nephews, Jimmy Roger Barnes Jr. and wife Paula, Jerry Dell Hawley, Jimmy Earl Harrell and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Harris; parents, Bennie and Rosa Lee Harrell; sister, Ann Carol Barnes; brother, James Earl Harrell and nephew, David Lee Hawley.
