Maria Guadalupe Valdez Rodriguez 64 of Bailey, passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, July 24, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC. Interment will follow in The Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey, NC.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 4:00-8:00pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson, NC.

Maria is survived by her husband, Benito Rodriguez Martinez; children, Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez de Valdovinos and husband Antonio, Benito Rodriguez Jr. and wife Xochil, Jose Luis Rodriguez and wife Claudia, Andres Rodiguez and wife Daenna; grandchildren, Alex Valdovinos, Anahi Valdovinos and husband Jesus, Emily Valdovinos, Ashley Valdovinos, Cielo Gomez, Paula Michelle Rodriguez, Sofia Isabel Rodiguez, Ximena Ester Rodriguez, Samantha Rodriguez and husband Shaunden, Jose Luis Rodriguez Jr. and wife Angela, Micheal Rodriguez, Henry Rodriguez, Nathan Rodriguez; great grandchildren, Liam Greyson Garcia, Christopher Roman Mitchell; and siblings, Inocencio Valdez, Maria Teresa Valdez de Rodriguez, Venacio Valdez, and Josefina Valdez de Quintero.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents Gervacio Valdez Valdez and Paula Trevino Zamora, and siblings Maria Natividad Valdez de Trevino and Aurora Valdez de Estrada
