Maria “Miep” Van Buuren, 93, of Bethel passed away Wednesday. A private family service will be conducted. “Miep” is survived by her daughters, Margaret Agnew and husband, Brian of Bethel, and Barbara Anderson and husband, Mike of Cary; her son, Leo Van Buuren and wife, Joan of Farmville; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonardus Johannes Van Buuren and her great-grandchild, Ashley Morris. Condolences may be directed to www.joyners.net.
