Maricela Limon

Maricela Limon, 62 of Bailey passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2026, with the family receiving friends prior to the service from 3 – 3:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Maricela was a remarkable lady that served her Lord faithfully and was a true servant. She was an excellent cook; a hard worker and she loved things to be clean and neat. Above all she always put her children above all else, they were her greatest gift, and she loved them completely and dearly; her children and grandchildren. Maricela was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend to all who knew her. She will be dearly loved and missed.

Maricela is survived by her sons, Juan Limon, Sr and wife, Sanjuana Limon, and Luis Limon and wife, Andrea Negrete Limon; daughter, Maria Limon and husband, Juan Izaguirre; granddaughters, Lupita Limon, Emily Limon, Arianna Limon, Lexani Limon, Catalina Limon, Lucy Limon Negrete and Alesandra Y. Gonzales; grandsons, Danny Limon, Juan Limon, Jr., Alex Limon, Jesus E. Gonzales, Sam Limon, and Abel Limon, and her great-grandson, Gabriel Daniel Limon.

She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-five years, Carlos Limon and her son, Julio E. Limon.
