Marie Lamm

Marie Lamm, 71, of Lucama passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Brother Matt Young will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service till 4 p.m.

Marie loved hummingbirds, fishing and just being outdoors. She loved cooking for her family that she loved more than life itself. No one could have a better mom, than Marie. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed and thought of often with wonderful memories.

Marie is survived by her daughter, April Ayscue; sons, Paul Scott Landers and wife, Ann Marie and Chadwick Keen and wife, Tammy; thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; her chosen daughter, Adrienne Pittman; sister, Bunny Peterman and Samantha Towle; brother, Patrick Hales, Earl Hales and Mark Hales, and her special sister-in-law, Lois Murphy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Lamm; parents, William Earl Hales and Mom Peggy Faulkner; grandchildren, Sarah Landers, Ashley Landers and Macy Barbee; step-mom, Sarah hales; sister, Patricia Dickerson; brother, Mike Hales; mother-in-law, Gola Lamm and son-in-law, Jonathan Ayscue
