Marilyn McKeel King

Mrs. Marilyn McKeel King, 79 of Kenly, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick Allen King; daughter, Kimberly “Big Baby” Najera; son, Michael Adams, and his wife Lorie; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents, June and Minnie McKeel; son, Richard Gerald Adams, Jr. and his wife Tiffany; a special sister, Virginia Taylor; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Mrs. King will be remembered as a kind and sweet lady, whom was a “momma” to everybody, and loved by all. She loved to cook, and owned her own restaurant for many years, where she loved to serve others, and always helped people with a free meal if they needed.

Her family will be holding a private memorial service at a later date.
