Mary Allene Bass Cunningham August 9, 1925 – October 15, 2021 Mary Allene Bass Cunningham, 96 of Wilson passed away Friday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. Rev. Dr. John Mark Horrell will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Mary is survived by her daughters, Andrea C. Etheridge and husband, John of Wilson, Jenette C. Bell and husband, Benny of Sims, and Kay C. Joyner and husband, Wayne of Wilson; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and her sister, Larene B. Radford of Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Allen Cunningham; sisters, Beatrice Barnhill, Peggy Lamm, and Pasty James, and her brothers, Theodore Bass, Nathan Bass, and Rand Bass.
