Mary Elizabeth Arrington-Lanier

Mary Elizabeth Arrington-Lanier, 37 of Goldsboro passed away Friday.  A celebration of her life will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2022 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. 

The family will receive friends and family Monday evening prior to the service from 5 – 5:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.

Mary is survived by her sons, Rocky, Jude, Levi and Cyrus Lanier; granddaughter, Violet Scott; mother, Grace Louise Cossette and husband, Jean Cossette; sister, Jessica Cossette; brother, Jeno Cossette, Jr., and her grandfather, Pat Knipp.

Mary was a talented artist; she could turn anything into art.  Mary made her sister a book, Roy G. Biv, teaching her the colors of the rainbow.   Mary loved spending time with her kids in Downtown Raleigh, from riding electric scooters, shooting fireworks, to playing with popguns, and being under the stars. As a grandmother, she wanted Violet to call her Bubby.
